Patrice Rivers  is an author of six books with different genres such as inspirational, children’s fiction, and poetry. Her seventh book “Through My Lens,” will be published in 2019. This will be an inspirational book of poetry.

Writing has always been in Patrice’s blood since the tender age of nine. She has freelanced for several publications over the last 10 years. Patrice has written for women magazines to entertainment magazines.

Alongside of writing, storytelling has always been a passion for Patrice. She has interviewed more than 100 people ranging from business owners, music artists, public figures, to celebrities.  Her first cover story was Tanya Acker.

Penstress Mo'Nik is a 33 year old author who just recently moved to Orlando, FL from Cincinnati, OH, but was raised in Marietta, GA. Needless to say, she has lived in quite a few places. She is the author of 9 books as of May 1, 2019 and had her first book published in June of 2017! She is one of seven children born to parents married over fifty years. In her twenties she moved to Virginia to provide a better life for her children. Known as the “Mistress of Soul”, a title given her by a local promoter/producer, Jayna Blackwell has been singing since she was four years old. Singing first in church you could often find her in the youth and young adult choirs of various local churches.

While still holding on to her gospel roots, Jayna began singing R&B professionally in the early 90’s and she hasn’t stopped yet. Her eclectic musical taste and style has enabled her to develop a voice that includes genres such as R&B, Funk, Jazz and even Rock & Roll. Jayna credits her first band; ThrillTrain for opening her up to singing Rock & Roll and credits Mr. Barron Edwards for strategically placing her in his Motown Revue Tribute Show and his R&B show band, forcing her into an exciting new world of professional singing.

Jayna quickly became known as an established background vocalist supporting several local bands and solo artists over the years. She often says her “experiences have shaped the voice you hear today” and credits her family and peers for pushing and loving her back to center stage.

Lil' Co is a visual artist from South Carolina that specializes in Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B, for a universal sound.  He has done two nationwide tours and have has been nominated for the Queen City Awards twice.

Gerald C. Anderson, Sr. was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He spent most of his childhood life growing up in the Belmont Heights area of Tampa. 

In 1980, Gerald graduated from C. Leon King Senior High School in Temple Terrace, Florida. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force.

 

Air Force Life

In his service career, Gerald traveled the world with assignments to California (twice), Florida, Kansas, Maryland, West Germany, and Korea. Upon his last assignment in Maryland and after retirement from the Air Force, Gerald worked in the United States Federal Government’s Department of Energy. In 2003, he moved to the Internal Revenue Service, and in 2007 he joined the Department of Education.

 

Education

In 2005, Gerald got his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University, and in 2008 he received his Master of Administration degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Cincinnati (UC).

Righteous Productions and The Lyfe Magazine

In August 2015, Gerald and Renata M. Smith agreed to become business partners and started Righteous Productions. Together they wrote the script for the movie version of Standing Firm and co-produced the movie.
