Renae Ellis was . . .

Born in NYC and raised traveling the globe as my father was in the US Army. My travels gave me the ability to develop perspective, as well as my love for writing. As life has many twists and turns. It took sometime to develop a signature sound and stylization, and create R&B music that is reminiscent of a vast array of musical influences, including: Faith Evans, Anita Baker, Jill Scott, Musiq SoulChild, and Stevie Wonder.

Today I am living my best life in Los Angeles, CA and making my way in the Los Angeles music scene; as a singer and songwriter with a sound that’s a multifaceted take on R&B with originality and familiarity~ in an effort to bring music to the table that is authentic and innovative with a touch of Soul.

This Spring I took my songwriting ability into the studio, and released the debut single “Love To Love” on May 20th of this year; followed by the single “What More”.

A little about me:

I'm a California born, Chile raised singer-songwriter, currently living in Chile, but moving back to LA in 2019.

I was on The Voice in Chile in 2016, I sing in both languages, and I have been the closing act to the Pride march two years in a row, in Madrid 2017 and Santiago, Chile 2018.

My aesthetic is inspired by Drag and my message of strength and self love is clear.

My Father, Lennie Weinrib was a voice over actor in Hollywood, and brought characters such as Scrappy Doo to life.

I am also the lead singer to a Rock band I founded 6 years ago, called The Flick Leslies.

Tracy Ann Lisa says . . .

I'm a Jamaican artist, I came here when I was eleven years old and spent some time in Brooklyn, the Bronx and went to school in Mount Vernon. I had to drop out early in order to work, so I didn't graduate high school, but I found a way to enter college and finish some schooling. My first EP titled Socially Inept EP 1 was fully released in 2017, but before that I released singles. I wrote all my songs on this EP. My songs come from a place where I want to empower not just people, but myself as a woman too. I always wanted to sing, but I didn't think I could have the guts to actually pull it off without a company behind me.

I quit my 7th grade talent show, I had a problem with stage fright so after that one quit then, I didn't think I could do it again. It finally broke though, I couldn't sit by and waste anymore time so I decided after a few unprofessionally produced and heavily accented songs, that I would do myself and my songs a favor and finally get them professionally produced because they were collecting dust in my books. I feel like they needed to be heard. I feel like I have come a long way, especially with training too, I sing in Patoise, or Patwa, so my vocals came a long way with training as well.

As a singer, I feel I should always be training some of the times and not just performing and writing, so I do make time to visit my coach every now and then when I am not too busy. I feel very proud that as an independent artist I was able to achieve these things with independent support. I grew up on old school reggae, R&B, rap, and gospel. When I get the compliments at my shows or on social media how good I was up there and that people enjoyed my show, or that people find me to be a very skilled songwriter and performer, it makes it all worth it.
