  • Endjoy podcast 015 – Thierry Lamarque
Thierry Lamarque or known as TL, is passionate of music and events. He is now settled in Australia, fueling this passion & got involve in the party scene.
    Presentation
TL, a psychedelic music DJ who founded his roots in music in Mauritius and now expanding his musical journey on the Australian scene. Travelling the world to new festivals and experiences is what drives my inspiration.
    What is your music style?
My style of music when I DJ is can be anything from Techy to Progressive Dark Psychedelic, I can juggle with the two genres quite conformably and bring a fusion to the two dimensions.
What could be your advice for upcoming djs?
My advice to upcoming DJs is to experience a few festivals and feel the groove on the dance floor to know why and for what reason you want to DJ. Each set that I prepare, I visualise myself on a dance floor and feel what I want to project during the set, this creates the path to the set.
Your favourite tune at the moment?
My Favourite tune at the moment is Space Jester by Ajja which is the 3rd track in this set. This is one of the rare progressive psychedelic sounds that feels like its being played at 145 bpm.

  • Endjoy podcast 014 – Brainlove
Brainlove is the alias of Ackshey Dusoruth. Coming from an eclectic background, this reflects on his music - which we invite to discover throughout this new podcast!
    Presentation
Born in the mid-80's on the beautiful island of Mauritius, Brainlove's musical journey started in the late 90's on the rock scene and with this passion for music, he started digging out into the electronic and techno scene. With a Metropolitan exposure in London lasting 5 years, he expanded his library by adding a variety of musical genres like deep house / progressive house / tech house / minimal house / pure house / deep progressive minimal and drum & bass. He also played at numerous house parties and bars until 2010, when he soiled the homelands. Surrounded by a colorful and exotic music culture, mixed with his international exposure, Brainlove starts to master the art of blending instrumental sounds with groove to produce a unique expression of harmony and happiness. Far out in nature, his musical journey is taken to another level whereby playing in the outdoor scene, he soaked into dubstep / tripping progressive psy-trance while combining mellow psy-chill & reggae music genres. Brainlove's unique skills eventually earned him residency at ZooBar in Quatre Bornes for 2 years and following which, he is now resident at Kenzi Bar in Flic en Flac. Playing on the beautiful coast of Mauritius, he indulges into reggae Roots / electronic / soulful / trip hop & progressive.
Talk a bit about this set

  • Endjoy podcast 013 – Olivier Marcello
A music passionate who has much experience in the outdoor parties - we're pleased to welcome Olivier Marcello for this new episode!
    Presentation
I started to spin vinyls in 2001 & was living in Melbourne from 2007 'till end of last year.
Talk a bit about this set
This recording is quite special because it features a lot of old tracks that i have enjoyed quite a while ago and expresses feelings of love and dreams.
How you define the style of music you play and what makes you love it?
It is quite difficult for me to categorise myself in a particular style or genre because I tend to be pretty eclectic when it comes down it. My selections often reflect on how I feel then, what I am going through in life and aim to create a sui generis journey while I am performing. I love deep, minimal, techno, prog and psychedelic soundscapes.
What could be your advice for upcoming djs?
    Less is more.
Your favourite tune at the moment?
There's a few of them but I will pick Morten Granau & Emok - 3rd Eye

  • Endjoy podcast 012 – Ken Zo
Honing his skills on the Australian lands, Fabrice David a.k.a Ken Zo has much of a creative mind. Musician, dj and producer - let's discover what his music is about!
    Presentation
I come from Cap-Malheureux, Mauritius. I am currently in Melbourne and have just completed a bachelor in Music Industry. Since childhood, I was brought up in music. I was lucky to attend ‘Le Conservatoire de Musique François Mitterrand’ where I learnt violin. I also studied at ‘Le Conservatoire de Musique Frederic Chopin’, where I learnt piano. I discovered my passion for electronic music in 2006 and I began to DJ in 2007 in Mauritius under the alias Mr. Snob. Since in Australia I rebranded my DJ/producer career under the alias Ken Zo and have been evolving in the Melbourne electronic scene for 3 years now.
Talk a bit about this set
This set is the one I performed for a yearly event called Organic Audio. The event is a showcase of EDM producers of Melbourne and New Zealand. The set includes 7 originals and 2 remixes I made over the course of the past 2 years. I chose those tracks in particular because they fit more into the context of the event and my set time.
How you define the style of music you play and what makes you love it?
Originally, Ken Zo was meant to be a techno project. However, I was introduced to the psytrance community in Melbourne within my first few weeks in Australia and I fell in love with the events and people surrounding that genre of music.
It is a slow process, but over time I picked up bits and pieces from different branches of psychedelic music. Now I like to think of Ken Zo as a fusion between techno genres and psychedelic genres to form a new umbrella of electronic music – Psytech or Psychedelic Techno
What could be your advice for upcoming djs?
Always keep an open mind and never stop learning about music and the environment you evolve in. Remain focused and determined in the face of rejection and remember that love is in answer!
Your favourite tune at the moment?
    Hypnagog – Undefinable Uncertainties
This is a track from his new Album – Thematic Mathematics. Every single track in this album is a master piece and I have been hooked on it for over a month now.

  • Endjoy podcast 010 – Mutecell
Finally on the Endjoy podcast, we are proud to present a mix from Kevin O'keeffe under his alias Mutecell! Now based in Berlin, he shares with us another perspective of his music!
Talk a bit about this set
Well to be honest, this set I did is quite special but still remains in the same concept that I like... I did this set for an exposition at a gallery in Berlin for a Japanese artist Yu Hokazono, so I decided to play something dark, ambient and trippy… but I could define the style I love to play as a mental, hypnotic techno … Sounds that match perfectly together, hypnotising the crowd in a mysterious manner. And I love it because I feel it inside of me nothing more nothing less.
What could be your advice for upcoming djs?
Well, we’re in 2014 and I really don’t know where all this dj thing is going but I hope it will always get respected in its traditional form of art so my advice is to do it if you can and feel it. Don’t do it because somebody else is doing it and look famous or something like that haha

His goal is to interact with people, make them happy & dance! Being an artist is about being free to express your personality.
Talk a bit about this set
I've always been playing some progressive tracks and I wanted to change this trend by throwing a dark techno set for this Endjoy Podcast. Here's a selection of some tracks I'm used to enjoy on a mix, hope you enjoy it.
How you define the style of music you play and what makes you love it?
As a mixing style, tech-house often brings together deep or minimal techno music. I always try to make some fusion in my sets, so that anyone can enjoy part it.

  • Endjoy podcast 008 – Mathias Duval
For this new podcast, please welcome the beats of Mathias Duval!
PresentationMathias is a music lover and has been involved into Mauritius' clubbing scene for several years.
Despite his young age, his Md1 events company has been throwing parties in most of the local clubs and himself has begun djing.
I prefer not to define a specific style since I never prepare a set or tracklist before playing for a gig, I make my set according to the people, observing them will automatically make you notice what they want. I've been spinning in some parties but I'm still an amateur but really enjoying the response of the crowd during and after my sets, that's an amazing feeling, really!
What could be your advice for upcoming djs?
I'm myself still learning, but if they want be become good at what they do they must enjoy what they do, try to define their own style and play according to the crowd.
