Did this one on an alternate laptop while traveling. Gave me a chance to try some significantly different approaches and think outside the box a bit. A bit trappy, a bit industrial, got my 808 on.

This one turned out pretty dark -- kind of has downtempo darkwave/industrial vibes. Just followed the flow to see where it took me.

Holiday week gave me a ton of extra time to work on this one. Stuck with a single sampler instrument for all the synth parts, just stretching its legs and getting to know how to work it. Very happy with the feel of the beat, just quickly locked in.

I've been working on this passion project of turning a film I like into a silent film and scoring it for, well, way too many years now. Thought I might score a scene for it this week. The scene is about visiting old friends from your past and then visiting with your new friends. Flowing acoustic guitar and strings, with a few thematic elements dropped in.

Busy week, had to quick get this one done. Had some inspiration to do a very minimal track, using just a few instruments to get the point across. All about the automation, a lot of which I did live. Pretty pleased with the result.

Not much to say beyond the fact that I made this one entirely using the Liven LoFi-12 in a portable studio. That kind of week.

Although the studio is in a sad state of affairs (hence the beat name) I was able to get this one rolling really quickly. Really like all the layers of call and response instruments which just kind of happened organically. The chorus is a two-parter, something I was curious to try out. All adds up to a beat I like, one that will live or die based on the topline vocal melody...

Roughest week yet, almost didn't happen. But I was able to bang out a simple VCVCC playing with a bunch of synths I've never used before. Ended up a little dirty.
