Andrew’s Fathoming Heavy podcast inspired me to cast myself. Listening to this interview conducted in June of 2018 inspires me to continue season 2! Here is the first 60 of 90 minutes. The audio isn’t great but I’m really proud of this dialogue. I hope you enjoy!

The bands explored here will begin in the late 1980s with bands like Winter, Thergothon, and of course Evoken. It will, indeed, become evident here how much Ben worships the New Jersey legends. Going as far to claim Evoken's "Atra Mors" as the greatest extreme funeral doom record of all time. Other blackened conjurings here include readings from the enormously influential H.P. Lovecraft and other atmospheric surprises to evoke the dark side of the doom! Messiah Marcolin or Rob Lowe? Boring question. Both phenomenal and part of the great legacy of Candlemass.
