This week's episode is an interview with Ruby Ben from Ruby Ben Health in Texas, the USA. Ruby tells us about how she finally found out she had Endometriosis when she and her husband were trying to get pregnant. She explains how finally working out she needed to look at her body as a whole, listen to what it needed, feeding it foods that didn't use lots of energy to digest them, so she had the energy to heal her body. She also shares her fertility journey, how she wants to get pregnant naturally and the steps she has taken. Ruby then shares how she wanted to then help other women in the same position about her self-healing journey she has learnt on her journey with other women.

This week's episode is all about Adenomyosis (Adeno), often called the sister to Endometriosis. I had a great interview with Sara Lopez, who has Adeno, and who is also an Adenomyosis Coach. According to one study, that Sara mentions in the interview, 91% of women with Endometriosis have Adenomyosis, they just may never know. In this episode we talk about the symptoms, differences from Endo, how to get it diagnosed, how you can manage it with a holistic approach, how it might fertility and more.
Sara Lopez, M. Ed. is a Certified Hormone Specialist and Adenomyosis Coach. She works with women who struggle with adenomyosis or heavy periods to find healing and relief holistically. Sara has always cared about women's health, and when she was a teen her mother suddenly had a hysterectomy - her recovery was long and painful to watch. She decided she wanted to help others find alternative ways to heal besides hysterectomy. She wanted to be that woman that says "of course you can find relief holistically", so she became a women's health coach. Now that I've seen so many women have huge health shifts with a holistic approach, I can say that it IS possible if you are ready!

Today's episode is with the lovely Ashley Looft from the US, who has gone to some incredible lengths to work out why she had horrendous painful periods, poor health and numerous miscarriages. She explains how she found out she has PCOS and Endometriosis and then what she did to become pain-free.
I love to hear true healing success stories that inspire you that it is possible to live pain-free. There is a lot in the media at the moment about women taking a long time to get diagnoses, how they struggle with their day to day life, but little in the way healing stories. It is possible for women to use an integrative approach of medical and natural approaches to allow their bodies to heal and come to live pain-free. Ashley shares her experience with overcoming histamine intolerance and using physical therapy and surgeries to live a pain-free.
Ashley Looft is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who helps women experiencing fertility and cycle struggles dig deep to find the root of their struggles and uses nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle to support their bodies in healing so that they can live their most healthy, happy, and fertile life. She came to this work through her own struggles with PCOS, Endometriosis, and 4 pregnancy losses. Ashley was tired of going to the doctor and being told that her only options were the pill or to get pregnant so she decided to take matters into her own hands and apprenticed with Nicole Jardim to become a Women's Health Coach and then continued on to go to school for Nutritional Therapy. When Ashley is not working to help others she loves to spend time with her husband and two dogs travelling, reading, cooking, running, and hiking in the beautiful Arizona desert.

So, here are the things I talk about in Part 1 of this subject:
Plus, how low stomach acid has currently caused a sore or ulcer in my stomach, and what to do to avoid this!
Today's episode will inspire you yet again! I chat to Natalie Masson, a woman like you and I who struggled to get pregnant, and against the odds of being 45, with low AMH and high FSH and much more, managed to get pregnant naturally and now has a beautiful family she has always wished for. Natalie doesn't have Endometriosis, but she does have an awful lot to share from her experience and is why she then went on to focus on helping women with their fertility struggles.
Dr Natalie Masson, PhD is a Psychotherapist & Fertility Coach, and founder of Fertility from the Soul, which is a resource for women who are longing for a child, struggling to conceive, and are interested in exploring natural ways to boost fertility. In today's episode, I talk deep dive into an issue that is very personal to me and my healing journey, stomach acid. It might seem like an odd topic and rather specific but it is a critical one. Particularly, if you want to ensure you are able to absorb your nutrients adequately enough so you have the necessary nutrient stores in your body so you can get pregnant.
So, here are the things I talk about in Part 1 of this subject:
Then in Part 2, in two weeks, I will explain the causes of low stomach acid, how to test for low stomach acid, and what you can do naturally to increase your stomach acid levels.

In today's episode I talk briefly about the monthly emotional rollercoaster women end up riding when trying to get pregnant. Over time this can end up pushing you into a downward spiral. It is so important to be aware of our mental health when you are trying to get pregnant not just your physical wellbeing.

In today's podcast episode I interview a woman who's voice I have listened to many many nights during my fertility journey, so as you can imagine it was a great honour to interview her and hear her voice for real! My guest is Joanne Verkuilen, the creator and mastermind behind Circle and Bloom, which provides guided visualisation and meditation programs for fertility and much more.
We really enjoyed recording this episode and our conversation covered everything from PCOS, Endometriosis, infertility, power of the mind, the placebo effect and how powerful this is, the need for hope and empowerment, how our body just needs the right tools to be able to heal itself and much more! I hope you enjoy it and find some inspiration from this, and that what you think and believe about your body, really does have a physical impact on your body. You can control how you are feeling.
Joanne Verkuilen is the founder of Circle + Bloom which aims to share the incredible power of the mind-body connection. Her various programs and guided meditations are designed to empower anyone on their journey. Diagnosed with PCOS and the possibility of infertility as a late teen, she did struggle to conceive. She had two very different pregnancy experiences but it ended with two happy, beautiful children.
When her friend Stephanie also started having fertility problems and seeing what she went through, this gave Joanne a business idea. Thus she created Circle + Bloom back in 2008. Exploring the connection between the mind and body, she created a meditation program for both infertility and cancer. Her company grew fairly into the scale that it is today and has since helped over 50,000 women worldwide.
