Meet Tarah V. Massey . Tarah V. Massey is a native Washingtonian. She graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in African-American studies. Tarah is an advocate, educator, and public speaker. Tarah was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2015, Through her own debilitating experiences with endometriosis, Tarah recognized the need to cultivate a community and safe space for African-American and Afro-Latino women. Too often these women are overlooked and underserved. As an educator, exposes her classrooms to the effects of endo to educate and incite change agents. Tarah aims to raise awareness and break barriers surrounding the stigmatized topic of women’s reproductive health by organizing and initiating community outreach programs and initiatives.
