It’s time once more dear friends to join our fellowship of um…fellows, as they traipse into the highly politicized town of New Jacksonburg, and its nearby putrid Swamp-town Stinkburg (or whatever it was called).
Will Balsa Basswood answer for his many crimes? Can trees be resurrected? All the definitive and most scientific answers are here, ready for your consumption!
Well howdy there y’all. We’re back once again with the exciting conclusion to last week’s roleplaying session. Will the party escape the ghostly apparition of the Checkered Knight? Will that knight whose name I can’t spell be brought to justice? Well all those answers and more are waiting for you when you press play on this baby.
Everyone’s favorite adventurers are back. Well not all of them, but most of them! Oh, your only favorite was Balsa Basswood? Well…hmmmm…
Come listen anyway as a quest to find the lovable cabinet maker quickly goes south. There’s murder, ghosts, and world class espionage all just waiting for your meaty ear holes.
We’re back to business as usual this week. Well…sort of. It sounds like a lot of you enjoyed our deviation in subject matter last episode, and we have every intention of returning to our ongoing roleplaying adventures.
But this week presents us with the rare opportunity to talk about a game all the participants have played. So if you’d like to hear a little bit about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, then buckle on up.
I’ll be candid and just say that after 228 episodes of this podcast, I recently found myself in pretty dire need of a change of pace. If you’re a longtime listener perhaps you feel the same way.
Long story short, I’ve talked our gang into trying something new. This week we’re deviating from our normal fare to present you with something completely unrelated to video games.
You know maybe it’s easier if you just listen for yourself. Like what you hear? Let us know. Hate everything about this change? That would be good info too. Will this be what we do from now on? Probably not, but also maybe? I don’t know, nobody really knows, let’s just buckle in and see what happens.
Well hello there, it’s been a little bit since we’ve seen each other. How have you been? Oh we’ve been very well, just playing a little bit of Apex Legends, Wargroove, and Shantae.
Oh but then there is Jay who has also had the colossal misfortune of playing Kingdom Hearts 3….
Sometimes no news is good news.
Our game of the year coverage is still somewhat in the air but that doesn’t stop the Enemy Slime Podcast from returning in the new year of our lord 2019. In this episode we speculate about some games on the horizon. What Metacritic score will Death Stranding get if it ever comes out? Lucio has some ideas.
Do you like dancing? Would you pay 90 dollars to dance as your favorite sexy anime teen? Well Jay will happily tell you why you shouldn’t do that. Or should? I don’t know man, do whatever feels right.
Well we’ve been off for a few weeks and have something of a backlog of games to potentially talk about. What did we do instead? Spent all our time talking about furries and the horrifying new Sonic The Hedgehog movie. Bon Appetit!
Honestly if Blizzard hadn’t messed up in one of the most profound ways imaginable I probably wouldn’t have even known that Blizzcon happened. And I certainly wouldn’t have planned on having a podcast that’s almost entirely devoted to it. But here we are. Do you have a phone? Blizzard needs to know. Would you like to play Diablo on said phone? Well…that’s not the answer they were hoping for…
The podcast currently has 330 episodes available.
