Energizing Aromatherapy with Grapefruit

In this episode of "Plants, Flowers, Oils and Whimsy," we'll talk about the energizing world of grapefruit essential oil. Covering the various positives of grapefruit, including its benefits in alleviating stress and rejuvenating one's mood. Face Serum/Oil/Moisturizer/Toner Adding grapefruit to your serum, oil, toner, or moisturizer can be beneficial especially for those with oily skin or acne to tone or clarify. Try using 4 drops of grapefruit, 2 drops cypress, and 4 drops myrtle to 4 teaspoons of carrier, toner, or moisturizer. Bath Soak 1 cup Epsom salts 1/2 cup Himalayan Sea salt 1/4 cup baking soda dried citrus peel 10-15 drops grapefruit essential oil 1 tablespoon carrier oil Directions: Mix dried ingredients in a big bowl. Pour oils in a smaller bowl and mix well. Combine the dried and wet ingredients and stir. Store in an airtight container. Cream Deodorant Ingredients: ¼ cup coconut oil ½ cup Shea butter 1 tbsp non-nano zinc oxide 1 tbsp and 1 tsp Clay 75 drops essential oils Directions: Mix ingredients in a large bowl and blend with a handheld mixer until mixed and creamy. Put in the desired container. Foot Soak Ingredients: 1/2 cup Epsom salts 1/4 cup sea salt 1/4 cup baking soda 1 tablespoon citric acid 10-15 drops grapefruit essential oil 1 tablespoon carrier oil Warm water Directions: Soothe tired muscles with Epsom Salts. Soften the skin and get rid of odor with baking soda. Exfoliate and brighten the skin with citric acid. Mix dried ingredients in a big bowl. Pour oils in a smaller bowl and mix well. Combine the dried and wet ingredients and stir. Fill a basin with warm water, add ingredients, and enjoy!
