One of the byproducts of Jesus' work on this earth, is that those who believe in Him have been given the opportunity to take part of the blessed life. In our American society, the idea of a blessed life has become skewed from the original intent that the Lord wanted us to experience. Pastor Adrian speaks to us about the spiritual blessings available to believers, and how the spiritual blessings far outweigh any financial or physical blessing that we could receive.

According to the Bible, a human's identity can be formed into just one of two different camps; you can either be viewed as being part of Adam's lineage or you can be viewed as being part of Jesus' lineage. Pastor Adrian begins our series that will focus centering our identity in Christ so that we can experience the fullness of life that God desires for us.

As we begin our summer midweek service that is themed on maturity, Pastor Adrian speaks about what the character that a Christian should walk in maturity. He speaks on making sure that believers will have more wins than losses in their lives.

As Christendom in the United States has waned and just about disappeared, the way that Christians should interact with our culture has drastically changed. Pastor Adrian encourages us to be aware of aware of the climate of our culture, so that we as believers can effectively engage our culture to accomplish the Great Commission laid out by Jesus for His church.

In the fourth week of our series of Mixtapes, Pastor Adrian shares with us about how being impacted by the gospel leads us to have changed lives. Every person can look at our world today and admit that the world needs changing, but in order to produce the change we would like to see, we will need to have experienced this change. Whenever an experience impacts our lives, especially for the better, we cannot help but share that experience with others. As Jesus impacts our lives, we can then share Jesus with the world to be able to spark change.

In our third week of our Mixtape Series Roshad Thomas comes in as a guest speaker and teaches us on how Jesus calls us to repentance. Roshad shows us that Jesus is not looking for perfect people that have reached a certain level of holiness before they can come into relationship with God. In fact, we all suck and will never be able to be good enough in our strength, but Jesus already has everything prepared for us to be able to come back into relationship as God originally intended.

As we celebrate our mothers on this Mother's Day, Pastor Adrian speaks to us to aspire to a trait that mothers carry in spades, relentless faith. It is almost inherent for a mother to have such strong faith and belief in their children and for their children. Pastor Adrian uses the example of the Shunamite women from 2 Kings 4 so that we can have a resting/passive faith that comes from contentment in Jesus. Also, in conjuction with the resting faith that comes from contentment, we should also have an active faith that allows us to believe God for things that are greater than we can accomplish in and of ourselves.

Throughout the new mixtape series, Engage Church will approach several different unrelated topics. This week, Pastor Adrian teaches us how to live a life that will leave a legacy for centuries. Pastor Adrian outlines that there are five points that will help us build these century lasting legacies. We should follow the cloud of God, start with the Word of God, think with the end in mind, develop a squad, and advance God's kingdom.

This can be seen as some people believing that the Holy Spirit empowering believers ended with the canonization of scripture, while others have twisted theology and practices. This week Pastor Adrian outlines how to recognize people and churches that are living Holy Spirit led lives.
