Father's Day service is to honour dads and men. Every man will get a special gift to encourage and help them in their 'fathering' endeavours and there will also be great 'manly' refreshments as well.

We also have a special Missions update from one of our global mission partners, the Good News Team from Thailand. Pam Ledley will be joining us to give us an encouraging testimony of the great work being done through this ministry.

Despite it being the last chapter the book, James continues to provide the same urgent and important encouragement to readers as he has done throughout the letter, in ensuring that our faith in Jesus shapes our actions.

Geoff Hall will be unpacking chapter 4 of James in our current preaching series "Don't just sit there".

As we have looked through in all the previous chapters of the New Testament book that bears his name, James, the brother of Jesus, encourages us to ensure our faith is lived out and for our faith to empower and shape our actions. Chapter 4 is no exception and this chapter provides a profound encouragement to us especially when it comes to our relationships.
