If you take our doubt seriously enough, it can lead you towards deeper levels of faith. However, how are you supposed to doubt towards faith when you have so many things that unsettle you? Are there "anchors" to keep you centered around what is true about God? What can happen if you are not anchored around certain truths about God and reality?

Does Christianity best explain reality or does atheism, pantheism, or mormonism? Is there extra-Biblical evidence for the New Testament?

We have good reasons to believe that God is the un-caused cause of everything, the Bible has eyewitness testimony from the creator, Genetics shows that there are limitations to change and that mutations show that macro-evolution is impossible, there is evidence for a Global flood, and evidence that Dinosaurs existed recently- all of which confirm the Bible.
This episode is a recording from the class that I taught at the WHY Conference in First Baptist in 2019. The original was shorter, but I needed to re-record it because of technical issues. So, I decided to add in more material for this version.

In this episode we talk about man's greatest problem: We have all broken God's perfect law in our act, attitude and in our sinful nature. Thus, our greatest need is to be cleared of our guilt before God and receive a heart of flesh. Only then can we truly love others as we ought in a way that is pleasing to our heavenly Father.

We make a brief case for Christianity, test the claims of other worldviews and help you start with a basic gameplan for discussing your Christian convictions. It's amazing where the conversation can go if you use intentional questions nd stay respectful the whole time!
*note: In this episode I make up a country name, called Atlantia, to make a point about being a good ambassador for your country. I know it is not a real country.

This episode is a recording from Caleb's recent lesson at Coronado Baptist Church on 8/4/19 on 5 reason we can trust the gospels. We explore the evidence for Early testimony, Eyewitness testimony, Extra-Biblical testimony, Expected testimony and Excruciating testimony.
*Minor correction on a point made during the recording: The Greater Isaiah scroll from the Dead Sea Scrolls is dated around 100-200 years BEFORE Jesus, not 1-2 years.
