Even if you are not called to be a missionary, you are called to live a missional lifestyle. David P. Jacob is a missionary and teacher who encourages others to live missionally. Right now, he is the director of Center for Missionary Mobilization and Retention. The organization works to help those who are called to be missionaries around the world.

David shares about his new book, It’s Your Call, which focuses on the importance of seeking God above calling. He talks about how to develop a missional lifestyle and how every part of the Body of Christ is important. Whether it’s finances, prayer, or encouragement, each believer has a part to play in the Great Commission.

Learning to love others long-term is a big part of missions and ministry. Sometimes that love can be easier said than done. In this week’s episode, Ann Hinrichs joins us again to talk about her new book, Just One, which is about her long friendship with a man in Belize. Through their friendship, Ann learned more about intercultural ministry and her friend came to know Jesus.

Ann also shares the importance of depending on God. Focusing on obedience is better than looking for results. Throughout the episode, she reminds us of God’s guidance and steadfast love. We look more like Him when we are willing to love another person for as long as the Lord leads.

Missionary burnout is a real deal. And some never make it. That's why missions mobilizers like Bevin Ginder of GlobalCast Resources - those who equip, send, and sustain missionaries, are critically important.

Obeying Jesus’ commands is important if you want to be His disciple. One of those is to go into all the world and share the Good News. Bevin Ginder joins the show to talk about mobilization and its role in the Great Commission. For him, whenever he is working with other believers, he is discipling.

Growing up on the mission field, Bevin felt called to be a mobilizer through a dream, a concert, and a class.
