We will all experience detours in this life, but thankfully we have a God that is in charge of our destiny. When we commit to daily devotion to Him amidst our trials, we can experience the fullness of hope in the future that our eternity is in heaven.

In the final week of our Finding God in the Dark series we were reminded that God often times uses unlikely people to accomplish great things. Each of us can be one of those people, and all we have to do is step into the calling God has for our lives.

Even in darkness when we feel far from God we have a purpose. God can use us no matter how lost or desperate we feel, and often he uses these times to shine his light and make his name famous through us if we let him. That doesn't mean it won't come at a price, but when we call on his name He will give us the power we need to fulfill our purpose in him.

God is always working, even when we can't see him. Listen to Brian's first teaching on how God provides for us even in the darkest moments. He provides support, and favor to us - we just need to be willing to lean in, put our best self forward and look for it and trust in Him.

Listen to Jordan's incredible message about submitting our weaknesses to God. When we do this we get to experience his power in a whole new way and watch what He can do in and through us.

In the final week of our Made for Mission series the focus was on Engedi's cable practice - Eat with those of a different cultural background. When we do this, we invite heaven and we invite blessing! When on mission for Christ it can be difficult and we will need others to walk alongside us, in community so we have the strength when trials will come.

In week 2 of our Made for Mission series, Pastor Jordan walked us through another one of our Cable practices and provided some practical ways to listen to God's voice by reading the Bible daily and spending intentional time in prayer.

In the first week of our Made for Mission Series Pastor Brian reminded us that even though we can't control the release date of heaven, we CAN contribute to it! He focused specifically on two of Engedi's CABLE practices. We can Care for the poor and vulnerable, and Bless people with the good news of Jesus.
