In our lives there are bound to be moments when we are unsure if we should take action or not. In Ecclesiastes 11 Solomon gives us four insights that help us know when to act, revealing that we serve a God who is biased towards action.

Living a life of purpose means living with God's wisdom in mind. In Ecclesiastes 10, Solomon gives us a picture of what a life of wisdom looks like, as well as what it might mean for us if we let folly win out over wisdom.

Ecclesiastes 9 reminds us that our time on earth may be temporary, but it is far from meaningless. Through the eternal gift of life in Jesus, we are motivated to live each moment of our earthly lives for his glory.

It's so easy to get caught up in our questions about the injustice and brokenness in our lives and the world around us. If we spend our lives only looking for answers, we'll miss the greater meaning and purpose God has in store for us.

Throughout Ecclesiastes, Solomon has shown us that any pursuit of purpose without God's perspective in mind will ultimately come up short. In Ecclesiastes 5, Solomon points out that even religion will leave us unsatisfied, unless we find a way to bring meaning back to our faith.

We all make investments—into our jobs, our possessions, our families, and countless other things—hoping for good returns. What happens when we look at the investments we've made and realize they don't amount to what we hoped? Are there investments we can make that matter?

Living a life of purpose means living out each day with God's eternal purpose in mind. When the routine of our daily lives begins to feel pointless or purposeless, how can we make sure to live each day with meaning?

The search for purpose can often lead us to seeking pleasure. Ecclesiastes gives us King Solomon's account of this search, and how it still left him feeling like his life was meaningless. How can we live our lives so that they are more than just a constant search for earthly pleasures?

As people created in the image of God, we want our lives to have purpose and be meaningful. When we approach them with the wrong perspective, though, our lives can quickly turn tiresome and hopeless. Is there a way to bring meaning back into our lives?

As followers of Jesus, we're called to extend His love to people who are different than us. This can lead to some uncomfortable and even awkward situations. In His time on earth, Jesus experienced these moments, as well, and we can learn a lot from how He approached them.
