God wants us to have the best sex life but that can only be experienced in his boundaries. So when we practice S.A.F.E. sex we will have the best sex.
Pornography is the new drug of the 21st century and it is the biggest killer of relational intimacy. Jesus desires to give us freedom from this self-destructive fantasy and renew our hearts; to love as he loves and see as he see's.
How do we navigate our sexuality as a single? God reveals to us the solution in the beginning; our divine image was designed for intimacy. And you can have intimacy without sex, and you can have sex without intimacy.
Jesus rebrands sex by the giving of his body. He gives us a new definition of what sex means at the cross. The most life-giving experience of sex only happens in marriage because we share in a sacramental promise with our spouse what God shares with us; a promise of faithful, committed, self-giving love forever.
Our sexuality tells us a story about God. But which story are we listening to - the worlds or His? All of creation points to the person of Jesus Christ, especially our sexuality. It is so much more than physical, it points to a spiritual reality of God's desire to be our source of satisfaction.
Guest Speaker Jacklyn Humbarger teaches from Psalm 23 on how we can make room for rest. Our hearts can often times get so full of desires and dreams that we end up burning ourselves out. Learning to make room for rest is necessary to get where God wants you to go.
Have you ever made space to rest but still find it hard to relax? Well, Jesus's desire is to help us remove all the things that are robbing our rest, but it's up to us to release those things to him. And when we do we will experience times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord.
Have you ever struggled with fulfilling your new year's resolutions? We all have. Luckily, God gives us exactly what we need to accomplish more and it starts with doing less; by resting. When we take our sabbath rest seriously we will experience our most spiritually successful year yet!
Guest Speaker Makena Mugambi teaches from Hebrews 3
In John 15 Jesus teaches us that he does not want us to strive in our relationship with him but to thrive! And the only way we can thrive is by abiding in his love with the help of the Holy Spirit.
