Tom got into engineering to gain further understanding in the world around him.  And he realised there was so much still unknown, especially in the area of safety engineering.  He has realised the key is to keep innovating... “keep anticipating where things might go wrong”. And that even when it seems difficult or too much of a challenge, to not shy away.
