There are many different types of people in the world. Where we live and what we look like makes us special. Because of this, people from Europe will often act differently than people from Asia. But if we take those differences, and say they are always true, we are making a stereotype.

Some stereotypes are harmless, but many stereotypes can be very mean. Placing many people into one category, just because they look or act a certain way, is unfair. Stereotypes often give us an incorrect understanding of other people. A common phrase in English is don’t judge a book by its cover. We should get to know people before we decide what they are like.

Shopping malls are very convenient because there are many different kinds of stores all in one building. Whether you need clothes or shoes, dresses or dishes, games or gifts, you’ll probably be able to find what you want at the mall.

Since there are so many stores, there are also lots of people at the mall. It’s usually a crowded, busy place. For some people, this kind of sensory overload makes them feel overwhelmed. Other people thrive on excitement and energy.

Malls with a parking garage, a movie theater, and some restaurants are also popular. Not only can people shop until they drop, they can also relax, and eat. The entertainment factor is also good when you’re at the mall with someone who’s not really interested in shopping, such as your boyfriend or your kids.

Parkour is about seeing your environment and finding ways to move around it in the most efficient way possible. It’s about traveling from point A to point B, but not worrying that there’s a building, ten people and twenty trees in between. People who practice parkour don’t use just streets and sidewalks.
