★Get in：～に入り込む、乗り込む

・Please get in the car, we’re going to be late!

・On a hot day, it feels good to get in the swimming pool.

★Get out：外へ出る、出ていく

・I want to get out of this hotel room and do some sightseeing.

・That meeting was so long, I thought we’d never get out of it.

★Put on：～を身に付ける

・You should put on your coat, it’s very cold outside.

・My wife won’t leave the house until she puts on her makeup.

★Take off：～を外す、取る、脱ぐ

・In Japan, always take off your shoes when you enter someone’s home.

・You should always take off your hat whenever you enter a temple.

★Resolution (noun)：決意、など

・What is your New Year’s resolution?

・My resolution is to lose ten pounds this year.

★Optimistic (adjective)：楽観的な

・I am optimistic about my test score. I studied all weekend.

・Try to be optimistic. I’m sure you will get a good grade.

★Pessimistic (adjective)：悲観的な

・Don’t be so pessimistic. Airplanes are very safe.

・No one wants to be around a coworker who is always pessimistic.

★Fish out of water：馴染みのない場所などや居心地のよくない状態にいる

・When I first arrived in Japan, I was a fish out of water.

・It took me a while to find my legs, but now I’m quite comfortable living here.

英語ネイティブは、日常会話で phrasal verbs（句動詞）を頻繁に使います。 ビジネスの場でも例外ではありません。 　

  ＊Phrasal verbs： 基本的な動詞（come、put、go、take など）と前置詞や副詞（in、on、out、off など）の組み合わせ 

Phrasal verbs（句動詞） は頻繁に使われるので、英会話力を伸ばすには phrasal verbs を使えるようになることが Key と言っても過言ではありません。

しかしながら、phrasal verbs を覚えるのが苦手、句動詞がうまく使えないという声をよく聞いてきました。
