The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation has teamed up with the American Heart Association to improve CPR and AED education in Charlotte. With a $600,000 commitment, they will provide training in youth sports, the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Department, and affordable housing communities. Their goal is to increase bystander CPR and AED knowledge, ultimately improving survival rates in cardiac emergencies. This initiative builds upon their previous efforts to educate Tepper Sports and Entertainment staff, making them the first NFL team to offer CPR education. These endeavors contribute to the larger mission of doubling sudden cardiac arrest survival rates by 2030.
