We do not rely on ourselves and our own understanding; we depend on You and we dare not act according to our wishes. We allow You to control us and direct us according to Your will. Lord Jesus, we want to seek and have true wisdom, the spiritual wisdom. We open to You, dear Lord. We treasure Christ as the wisdom of God. Grant us to have the spiritual wisdom concerning Christ making His home in our hearts for the building up of the church. May we be filled with the excellent knowledge of Christ for the church to be built up as the Body of Christ. Amen, Lord, we praise You for coming into us as the Spirit to be mingled with our spirit. Grant us to have spiritual wisdom, the wisdom which comes from God and which is Christ Himself! May we appreciate the spiritual wisdom much more than any God-given gift of human wisdom.

Lord Jesus, we love You. Cause us to love You to the uttermost. Save us from loving You with some of our heart. Keep our heart turned to You. Grow in us, Lord, until we reach maturity in life. May we focus not on the outward gifts but on the growth in the divine life. Save us from indulging the flesh with its lusts. Save us from not being careful concerning our living in the flesh and sowing unto the flesh. May we be men after the heart of God who focus on the building up of the church as the Body of Christ.
