Enjoying Christ in His word

Lord Jesus, we want to maintain the newness of our heart and spirit today! Renew us day by day. Keep us in the process of being renewed. May there be a fresh supply of the resurrection life added to us daily so that we may become new, even as new as the New Jerusalem! Amen! We believers in Christ have a new heart and a new spirit, but we need to cooperate with the Lord to maintain the newness of our heart and our spirit day by day. On His side, God does many things to help us be renewed, including the arranging of a certain measure of sufferings. On our side, we need to turn to our spirit and receive the renewing, even when we go through sufferings. Amen, Lord, we want to be revived every morning and renewed day by day! We love You, Lord!

We believers in Christ need not only to exercise our spirit and be poor in spirit but even more, deal with our heart and be pure in heart so that we may see God. When we are pure in heart, we see God, we gain God, we are constituted with God, and we behold and reflect God. Also, we abhor ourselves, denying ourselves, for anything else besides God is rubbish, refuse. Oh Lord, purify our heart. Make our heart single in seeking You! We love You, Lord!

We believers in Christ should never be stagnant spiritually or indifferent with our own spiritual lack; rather, we should be continually emptied so that we may be continually filled up. WHenever we become empty, the Lord will fill us up. Oh Lord, amen, may we progress with You spiritually by being continually emptied out and continually filled up with You!
