As believers in Christ who aspire to be part of the bride of Christ, we want to not only be transformed by the divine life in our nature but even more, be filled with the divine life that changes us so that we may be mature in life! Amen, we want to be both transformed and matured in life to be the mature bride of Christ who brings Him back! Lord Jesus, transform us in our very nature by Your life. Grow in us and bring us on to maturity so that we may be Your mature bride, matching You in ever possible way! We love You, dear Lord Jesus, our Bridegroom!

How was the church produced to be the bride of Christ? According to Genesis 2 and John 19, the church as the bride, the wife of Christ, was produced by Christ's death and resurrection (typified by Adam's sleep and Eve being built out of his rib by God). Wow, when Christ died on the cross, He shed His blood for our redemption and He released His divine life to produce and build up the church! Praise the Lord! Today we can apply His precious blood and enjoy His life to be built up as the bride of Christ, the church! Lord Jesus, may Your life grow in us, flow in us, and build us up as Your counterpart, the bride of Christ!

Did you know that Christ died on the cross not only to redeem us but also to produce the church through His redemption and the impartation of His life? Just as Adam had a deep sleep and God took one of his ribs and built a woman, his counterpart, so Christ died on the cross and God used Christ's divine life to produce and build the church, the counterpart of Christ! It is amazing to realise that, just as it was not good for Adam to be alone but he needed Eve as his counterpart, so it is not good for God to be alone - He needs the church as His counterpart! Wow! How we love the Lord Jesus, our dear Bridegroom! He loved us so much that He came and died for us on the cross, and now He constrains us with His love that we love Him and also love the brothers! We love the Lord not because we're better than others but because He showed us mercy and poured Himself out as love into our hearts. The very life we believers have received, the divine life, is a life of love, and when we exercise our spirit of love, we love the Lord and love all men! Lord Jesus, we love You!
