Lord Jesus, we do not want to be superficial Christians who have a lot of outward manifestations of being a Christian but lack depth. May we allow You to grow in us as we spend personal, intimate, and private time with You. Amen, Lord, strengthen our personal time with You day by day. We want to seek You in secret, obtain some secret answers from You, and open to You the secrets of our being. Oh Lord, may deep call unto deep! Work Yourself into the depths of our being. We want to learn to open the depths of our being to You so that You may work Yourself into them. Save us from skating on the surface. Save us from having merely a life that is outward without depth. Grow in us, Lord. We want to take root downward and bear fruit upward.

May we learn to quiet down our soul and calm ourselves down so that we may know God as the One who hides Himself. Amen, Lord, we turn our heart to You. Grant us to quiet down our soul and have rest in our heart so that we may see You and know You. We want to follow the teaching of the inner anointing, the small and quiet voice in our spirit which conveys what is in Your heart for us.

Amen, Lord, may we be those who linger in Your presence as we have a personal time with You. May we not rush our time with You but spend adequate time to be with You in prayer. Have a way to shine on us. Expose anything in us that frustrates You. Grant us the supply of grace we need for today. Oh Lord Jesus, we simply say Amen to what You expose in our being.

Hallelujah, our Father sees in secret and He wants us to seek Him in secret, do things before Him in secret, and enjoy Him in secret! Amen, Lord, may we as children as the heavenly Father live and care for the Father's secret and hidden presence!

Save us from merely doing things for You and from performing outward things for You. May we be those who often go into our private room to pray to the Father who sees in secret. Amen, Lord Jesus, may we seek to be with You privately many times during the day so that we may be one with You. We want to be one with You in everything we do and say throughout the day.
