The book explores Best's own journey of spiritual self-examination and realization, recounting her experiences of the loss of her parents, the anxiety and depression that she experienced as a result, and the spiritual explorations she used to find peace for her present and future. The focus of the book is healing the heart and the inner self. Cintra is currently working on a second book, Enlighten My Senses: Evolving the Soul, which is focused on navigating one's inner compass and how to apply the wisdom it provides to navi-gating the world outside of oneself.
