Discrimination may have been illegal by 1969, but it wasn't improbable. In this second solo episode, I reflect on my role in integrating Atlanta's all-White Westminster Schools -- and on the lifelong lessons I learned growing up as an outsider.

During our time together, I recall my personal evolution from "Black Girl #8," to parent of a legacy student, to trustee of an academic institution I was once reluctant to even return to.
