Last winter we had a vision of compiling 18 interviews, 2 people from each Enneagram type, to create a 3-part Enneagram series for our podcast. Our goal was to share personal experiences of each of the nine types to create a resource that would expose those studying the Enneagram to lived narratives of each type. Our formal training of the Enneagram has been through The Narrative Enneagram tradition, which values the human experience of each type over descriptions in a book. Our best teachers have been friends, family, and acquaintances who have shared their realities with us in relation to their type structure.
Our vision for organizing the information and testimonials that we collected was to organize the series into three triads; the triads of the body, heart, and head. Our third episode includes the three types in the head triad (types 5, 6, and 7).
