Paul wrote to Timothy, "No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier" (2 Tim. 2:4). Will our enlisting officer find us ready and eager to fight for His cause, or will we be entangled by the cares and distractions of this life, unable to join the battle when He calls?
