Organizations, civic or otherwise, historically have hosted public debates, speakers, and the like for the benefit of its citizenry. Where has this gone? Cell phones, children, and careers are the easy answers. What about apathy? Outright negligence? We cannot ignore difficult issues and expect improvements, despite our continues transition to an 'On Demand' society.
