Heavenly Father, on this Monday between Christmas and New Year’s, we thank you for your promise of rest.

Lord, we choose to trust your timing, believing that even when our “set time” hasn’t arrived, your plans will unfold for our good as we trust you in the already and the not yet.

Help us to release control—to stop striving and let you work, knowing it takes faith to rest in your sovereignty.

Teach us to set boundaries against peace stealers and to guard our hearts from anxiety and negativity.

May we prioritize self-care as Jesus did, taking breaks this week, even naps, and finding refreshment in your presence.

Let our work flow from a place of peace, not stress—believing your promises are true.

We enter into your rest, ceasing from anxious thoughts, and embracing your peace. Amen.
