Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Kevin Young discuss the following:

    * How did you get started in property?
    * When did this become your business and why?
    * How hard is it for someone to do what you have done – what do they need to know?
    * What are three things people need to know before starting an investment portfolio?
    * What are your goals for Property Club?

Kevin Young’s story is not your typical rags to riches story, although he does admit that growing up poor was a powerful motivator for success. His investment journey spans more than 50 years, having tried and tested every possible strategy imaginable.
Success at an early age did not prevent Kevin from making mistakes, but he now confesses that he’s pretty much worked out all the pitfalls in property investing.
Kevin and his wife, Kathy, are now consistently ranked in Queensland’s top 100 Rich List with a portfolio of investment properties approaching 200. Kevin can rightly claim the title of Australia’s largest individual residential property owner.
His ambition is to help everyday people avoid a life of poverty on the pension. By helping them create ongoing wealth through property investment, he is a strong believer in the old maxim: give a man a fish and he eats for a day, but teach a man to fish he’ll eat for a lifetime.
With this philosophy firmly entrenched, Kevin Young is a pioneer for property investors, a crusader for every Aussie taxpayer to get ahead by using the banks and the tax laws to their advantage.

    * What can getting your business or brand into media mean for you?
    * Media was important when we had traditional media models like papers, TV news and radio. Is media still important today? We’ve got social media now?
    * What do people need to get started? What if people don’t have ‘news’?
    * What is ‘media’, what isn’t media?
    * What holds people back from giving media a go?

Irena Bee has been featured in countless newspaper articles, television chat shows and radio programs, most often representing other people’s brands. For over 25 years Irena has worked as PR, media and communications advisor and strategist. She has run national and local campaigns that have impacted the outcomes of elections and policies, human behaviour and our health and wellbeing knowledge.
She has university degrees in Journalism, Adult Training, Radio and a Masters in Communications. Over the years working at the C-suite level for corporates, governments, qangos and nonprofits she built a personal contacts book over 3,000.
Irena started at the end of typewriters and the start of the internet. In these 25 years the barriers to media and the number of outlets have grown exponentially meaning anyone with the tools and practice can become their own PR guru.
In 2010 Irena launched her first online business where she realised that in the modern economy small business now had the same access to media as only ‘insiders’ like her once had. She also figured out how to promote yourself without being sleasy or cheesy.
In 2008 Irena hung out her shingle for clients from government bodies, industrial technologies, education, the arts, community, environment and large consulting firms.
In 2016 she has turned her bespoke expertise and created a transparent system anyone can follow to get the same, if not more, success, recognition, authority, customers and cultural change.

Jeff DeBenedetti, Director of Golf at Las Positas Golf Course in Livermore, California &  PGA Professional and Owner of the DeBenedetti Golf Shop joins Enterprise Radio to discuss building a business with community connections.
Las Positas Golf Course is a thriving golf course and has various programs that draw the community at a time when many golf courses throughout the U.S. are struggling.
This episode of Enterprise Radio is brought to you by DesignCrowd.com. Learn more and receive your Enterprise Radio $100 VIP offer when you start your next project.
Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Jeff DeBenedetti discuss the following:

    * Why is your golf course successful when throughout the U.S. golf courses are closing at a rate of more than 100/year? That is absolutley stunning.
    * How important do you think it is for entrepreneurs to connect to their communities and why?
    * What are some of the things Las Positas Golf Course is doing in its community and how has it helped your business?
    * How has feedback from your customers helped your business to grow?
    * What do you think makes your golf course unique?
    * What are some of the business challenges you’ve faced and how have you overcome them?

Jeff DeBenedetti is the Director of Golf at Las Positas Golf Course and the owner of the DeBenedetti Golf Shop Inc.  Las Positas is a municipal golf course in the heart of the Livermore Valley wine country.   As the golf industry has changed so has Las Positas. It opened as a 18 hole course in 1967 and is now a 27 hole course as well as a 9 hole FootGolf course, boasting the best greens in Northern California.
Jeff has been integral in the growth of Las Positas while maintaining its integrity and core customer.  The core values of the PGA, integrity, respect, honesty, perseverance, and professionalism are evident in Jeff’s management of Las Positas.
As Jeff says ‘Golf is the only sport in which you call a penalty on yourself’.  Jeff’s core values mirror this as he trains his employees to exceed the customer’s expectations every day. “People come to a golf course to relax, to get away, to have fun, and it is our job to make sure that is accomplished’.
With a $6 million renovation completed 5 years ago, Las Positas upgraded its bunkers and greens while redesigning several holes and building a new 9 hole par 3 course which hosts FootGolf as well. FootGolf is the newest sport where the soccer ball is the golf ball and your foot is the club.  Ninety-five percent of the customers in the first six months of introducing FootGolf had never been to a golf course.  Foot Golf is bringing a new customer to golf courses and introducing them to the game.
In addition, Las Positas’s involvement in the community encompasses all ages. It has the only year-round junior golf program in Northern California catering to juniors from ages 7-17 and representing all abilities. The Junior League is a top performer, and many golfers from Jeff’s Junior golf program have gone on to receive full ride scholarships at college.
In addition, local civic groups frequent the course, and Las Positas hosts a program that teaches golf skills to mentally and developmentally disabled adults.
Las Positas is owned by the City of Livermore and is proud of the growth it has seen over the years.  As golf courses in the area are closing, Las Positas continues to be financially beneficial to the City. Livermore has 3 of the top businesses in the golf indu...
