This episode of Enterprise Radio is on association with the Author Channel.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Chris Volk discuss the following:

    * You have been instrumental in leading and publicly listing three successful companies, two of which you co-founded. These companies provided capital to thousands of businesses. Can you tell us about your background and how you developed the process described in THE VALUE EQUATION?
    * You have often said that the world’s greatest fortunes, and many smaller ones too, are based on wealth generated by business. Yet this concept is not taught in school. How does THE VALUE EQUATION fill this void?
    * ou spend a lot of time in THE VALUE EQUATION discussing Other People’s Money or OPM. What are the various types of OPM and what are the pros and cons of each? How can a leader decide which type of OPM is right for their business?
    * Many people dream about building hugely successful companies and becoming billionaires or at least millionaires. What are the odds of this happening for the average entrepreneur? What is a more realistic way to view the amount of wealth a business can generate?
    * One of the most interesting stories that you include in THE VALUE EQUATION is about Daymond John, the businessman and investor people know as a regular on Shark Tank. You explain that when he started his first business, he needed funding. Please tell us how he obtained funding and what we can learn from his experience.
    * What are the most common finance mistakes that leaders make and how can they avoid them?

TIP: Most of the world’s greatest fortunes, as well as many smaller fortunes, are centered in business model fundamentals.

Christopher Volk, author of The Value Equation: A Business Guide To Creating Wealth For Entrepreneurs, Investors And Leaders, has been instrumental in leading and publicly listing three successful companies, two of which he co-founded. The most recent is STORE Capital (NYSE: “STOR”) where he served as founding chief executive officer and then as executive chairman. • Per Bosscal Mezcal: Better to be the head of the rat than the tail of the lion

Nelson Nieves, Co-founder of Bosscal Mezcal which released its first mezcal in 2015 and owns distilleries in Durango, Mexico joins Enterprise Radio.
This episode of Enterprise Radio is in association with the Beverage Industry Channel.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Nelson Nieves discuss the following:

    * Your enterprise sounds like an amazing adventure. Can you tell me about Durango?
    * How did you manage to become the #1 mezcal sold on-premise?
    * In addition to trademarking, do you use additional cocktail marketing strategies?
    * It sounds like Bosscal Mezcal really does things differently.
    * Where can listeners get more information on your brand Bosscal Mezcal & find it near them?

Nelson Nieves, Co-founder of Bosscal Mezcal
Nelson Nieves was raised in Florida by a mother exiled from Cuba and a father who immigrated from Uruguay, both of whom inspired him to build his own futures. Nelson fell in love with Durango and its patron son, Pancho Villa, whose underdog story reflects Durango’s place as “The David of Mezcal versus Oaxaca the Goliath.”  As his father often said to his: “Más vale ser cabeza de ratón que cola de león,” which means “Better to be the head of the mouse than the tail of the lion.”
Bosscal, which released its first mezcal in 2015, owns distilleries in Durango, Mexico, uses only wild-grown Cenizo agave, which is hand-harvested – and donkey-transported – from that region’s highlands. For every plant harvested, a new agave pup is planted. The brand has organic certifications from the USDA, EU, and SAGARPA Mexico, and there are currently three Bosscal Mezcals available in the U.S. market (all ABV 42%): Joven (SRP: $44.99/750mL); Damiana, a stimulant herb which grows alongside wild agave (SRP: $49.99/750mL); and the rare Pechuga de Conejo (SRP: $99.99/750mL).

    * It’s been over 5 years since we last spoke and you have reached your 10 year milestone. A lot has gone on since then, notably the pandemic. How did you manage to survive through the pandemic?
    * What are some of the challenges you are facing now and how are you navigating through them.
    * I understand that you are a believer in continuing education. Tell me a little bit about that.
    * I understand that you have been continuing to support your community. In what ways have you done this and how do you think it has helped you as an entrepreneur?
    * Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

TIP: It goes without saying that you should have financials prepared and as one of my instructors put it: Would you drive a car without a dashboard?   So having financials is one thing and not using them to proactively address your business is another.  Ignoring the story your financials tell you is like your car dashboard is showing you need your oil changed. You would take action on that. It should be the same way with your business.

Tina Paine is the owner and founder of Wicked Healthy Vending, a Massachusetts-based company that has been providing healthy and traditional vending machine services in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire since 2013. * They step away from their day-to-day responsibilities to think about and focus *on* the business rather than *in* it.
    * They connect with other leaders in similar roles and share learnings to help each other make important, more informed decisions.

William Santana Li, the Chairman and CEO of Knightscope, the leader in autonomous security robots and blue light emergency communication systems again joins Enterprise Radio.
This episode of Enterprise Radio is on association with the Technology Channel.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest William Santana Li discuss the following:
    * Knightscope is the leader in autonomous security robots and blue light emergency communication systems with an emphasis on keeping America Safe. What is your company vision?
    * What do the robots and emergency systems do in protecting America and what vertical markets?
    * In 2022 you took the company public and recently you announced a $10 million Public Safety Infrastructure Bond. What is the purpose of this Bond?
    * Does this bond give investors a “Safer” way to invest in the future safety of America?
    * How does our audience invest in the future of safety of America and Knightscope? How does one get started?
Knightscope is a developer of autonomous security robots and blue light emergency communication systems Knightscope’s Autonomous Security Robots (“ASRs”) have been in service since May 2015 and have been directly responsible for many documented crime fighting wins.
One Los Angeles County law enforcement agency expanded its public safety presence with Knightscope’s K5 ASR and attributed the following statistics to the deployment: a 10% reduction in calls for service, a 46% reduction in crime reports and a 68% reduction in citations. As a result, the City Council approved the contract renewal, which recently entered its 5th consecutive year.
In 2022 the company became public and has now secured a $10 million Public Safety Infrastructure Bond Offering where the public may fight crime with their investment portfolio.
“It is our view that retail investors are often precluded from participating in high-yield debt offerings made by publicly traded companies and we hope to begin to address that injustice through this bond offering. Simultaneously, this can provide semi-permanent long-term growth capital in a non-dilutive form to continue to fuel Knightscope’s growth,” said William Santana Li, Chairman and CEO, Knightscope, Inc. The Company is offering 10% interest, paid in cash annually, on up to a 5-year bond. For example, a $10,000 investment could yield $1,000 of interest in cash payments annually. Over 5 years, an investor could accumulate up to $5,000 in interest payments. Learn more at bond.knightscope.com.
Although the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) reported national violent crime decreased an estimated 1.7% in 2022 when compared to 2021, property crimes increased by 1.06%.
