Most traditional advisors have structured their services and offerings in such a way that entrepreneurs think it is not beneficial to them. Advisors are supposed to be most trusted by entrepreneurs on the professional side but it is only possible when the advisor’s interests are aligned with that of the entrepreneurs and what they want to invest in.

After a successful business exit what comes next will be determined by what exactly you are passionate about tied with what your core values are. Just remember though that your entrepreneurial skills are unique and remarkable and there are founders or companies out there that value what you lay on the table.
