Anything but just another diversity podcast!
Your story matters–and that is a big reason why the podcast, “Real Talk with Fanci Worthington and Steve Oliver” was created. In this Entrepreneur Perspectives episode, we talk with Fanci and Steve about why they would start a podcast about diversity.
There is so much diversity talk in Corporate America, but much of it feels hollow. It’s like when an airline or insurance company says they have great customer service. Just because you say it, doesn’t make it true. You have to live it, like Fanci and Steve. Diversity is a sensitive, uncomfortable, and essential topic in business and life. And we absolutely need individuals like Fanci and Steve sharing their stories and the stories of those around them with “real talk”.
In this episode, we get into Fanci and Steve’s stories around sexism and racism. We also hear what it was like to start a podcast and the development of them as individuals because of the podcast. We talk about leaving the company event early and staying late. We get into how you never know what someone is going through. And we get into what it’s like to be the only one in the room.
The KazSource team works with Fanci and Steve and their company, Cetera Financial Group. We believe in Fanci and Steve. It’s an absolute privilege to be able to produce their podcast–we are grateful to be in the room with them as they talk about these topics related to diversity as we all have so much to learn when it comes to this topic. And the hope is conversations like this happen more and more. We hope you’ll give this episode a listen.
You have a story. And I promise you, it matters. No matter your line of work, you can share that story like Fanci and Steve do. Simply put, consider sharing that story. We’d love to support you.

Staying active in all aspects of life and business works. Just ask Mitch!
That kind of positive activity applies when things aren’t going well, in your day-to-day sales routine, or just getting up and getting going. We can also call this effort.
And as discussed in this “Foundation” episode, it relates to pivoting — we all pivoted with this Covid situation.
This podcast episode with Mitch Long and Eric Kasimov is about activity, a drive to Pittsburgh, and a market trend on cash value life insurance.
This new podcast series on Entrepreneur Perspectives is called Foundation. We aim to support entrepreneurs — and we think the word foundation is applicable in our support of entrepreneurs in many ways: fundamentals, life insurance, protection, family, thesis, beliefs, support, help, mental health, and much more.
What does “Foundation” mean:
As defined by Google dictionary, foundation means: “an underlying basis or principle. -or- : the lowest load-bearing part of a building, typically below ground level.”
Sit with that for a bit. In the meantime…

KazSource disclaimer
Talent stacking. Take your experience, knowledge, skills, and uniqueness and talk it out on podcasts, write about it on blogs, and post about it on social media, emails, Reddit, and more. Your normal skills once stacked together become extraordinary. You can become the only person with a specific combination of skills.
In this episode, The Boss Move Podcast and host Kison Patel feature KazSource and SportsEpreneur Founder, Eric Kasimov, to discuss the ideas of talent stacking and consistency in content messaging.
Of course, in this episode, we get introspective as that’s what Entrepreneur Perspectives is really all about. So we also discuss:
– iterating
– using content as leverage
– being useful in all aspects
– how did Eric become an entrepreneur
– stacking industries
– patience and discovery
– lean into your best ideas
– read and listen
– challenge yourself
Looking to start a podcast of your own? Let’s chat about it.
Kison Patel’s team invited Eric to be a guest on The Boss Move Podcast. Kison brought a conversational approach to this interview which of course we are big fans of. Content creation can be accessible. Or to put it another way, it doesn’t have to feel like work. That’s the best kind of content creation for entrepreneurs.
We hope this podcast chat hits home with you as you think through your own content path. And remember to think through your talent stack (you likely already have them) and then talk and/or write it out through podcasts, blogs, and posts.
We hope you enjoy this episode titled, “Talent Stacking with Eric Kasimov on The BossMove Podcast hosted by Kison Patel” on Entrepreneur Perspectives.

Wrap Up:
The lawn care industry is littered with issues. So we take on those issues and more with GreenPal Co-Founder and CEO, Bryan Clayton. This episode is more than just lawn care issues as the lawn care industry provides the perfect backdrop to this conversation. In fact, this episode gets philosophical and deep real quick!
Why I wanted to host Bryan Clayton on Entrepreneur Perspectives: I wanted to learn more about the lawn care business because quite frankly, it’s a disaster! And it seemed to me that’s why GreenPal existed–to fix those issues. The industry is filled with average, shady tactics, cash businesses, and bait and switch methods. So yeah, I wanted to understand how you build a business in an industry like that and how that relates to many other industries as lawn care is by no means the only industry with issues–all industries have them.
Bryan Clayton at GreenPal solves these issues while utilizing the gig economy that we live in. We talk about finding your purpose, entrepreneurship, how building a business is like a video game, and the behind the scene reality of starting your own company. GreenPal brings value to entrepreneurs and homeowners by offering a service that is reliable while saving time. That time saving not only comes from allowing someone else to handle your lawn care but also there is time saved in the process before and after the lawn care service with the GreenPal app.
Simply put, GreenPal is lawn mowing made easy.
In this episode, Eric Kasimov talks with Brian Clayton about the identity of GreenPal and how the foundation of his business is built off of accountability. This conversation is an opportunity to learn about building a business that brings value to consumers and business owners, having purpose as an entrepreneur, and growing a business in the gig economy. GreenPal has solved the issue of having reliable lawn care, but it wasn’t without overcoming adversity. You’ll hear how Bryan and his team were diligent with growing a client base and adding vendors for the GreenPal app. Spending time cold calling on weekends and begging people for a $30 dollar lawn care service are small examples of what it takes to grow an 8 figure business.
