  • EP097 | Portland Timbers Goalkeeper and Storyteller with Jeff Attinella

A professional goalkeeper gives his perspectives on storytelling. Jeff Attinella, goalkeeper for the Portland Timbers, shares stories about the mindset of a soccer goalkeeper, playing for the Portland Timbers, and an athlete creating content. All the while he is sharing lessons to apply to his business career--and yours.

    -----

A little bit about our guest:

Jeff led the Timbers’ team to the 2018 MLS Cup. He played college soccer in his home state at the University of South Florida. His junior season he was an All American and Big East goalkeeper of the year.

Besides being a goalkeeper, Jeff is husband, father and content creator. A creator in the sense that he is a podcast host and children’s book author. You can hear his podcast From J to Z on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. His children’s books can be found on his publishing platform, ItHadToBeTold.com or Amazon. You can see links to his books below. After you spend time listening to Jeff and learning about his story, you will absolutely be drawn to his content.

One thing that really stood out in this chat is Jeff’s mindfulness. We believe you’ll come to understand what I mean after listening to this conversation.

We are excited to feature Jeff Attinella on the Entrepreneur Perspectives Podcast.

  • EP096 | What Customer Service Should Be

Do you genuinely value your customers? Customer service is a bit of a buzz word that is thrown around by many companies. These companies feel that just by saying it, they are actually providing good customer service.

Customer service is a lot more than just a word. It’s a constant and consistent action. Mitch Long of KazInsurance does not hold a customer service rep position, but he sure acts like he does.

Listen to this episode of Entrepreneur Perspectives to hear the thoughts of Eric Kasimov and Mitch Long on customer service.

  • EP095 | Is Podcasting At Its Peak?

There are now upwards of 700,000 podcasts. Is podcasting at its peak? In a recent New York Times article, they discussed why podcasting is at its peak. While we don't necessarily disagree with their take, we are here to say that if you have the genuine podcasters mindset, there is plenty of potential for you in the podcasting world.

In this episode, we discuss the benefits of starting a podcast and the upside to you joining the podcasting world.

The bottom line is, if you are a business leader with specific thoughts to share, you should consider starting a podcast because podcasting is the ultimate form of genuine leverage right now.

  • EP093 | Enjoying the Process of Prospecting

"If you don't get out, you're not getting work done." There's a lot of negative that is associated with sales and prospecting.  Allow two experienced sales professionals that both own their business (one in marketing and insurance and the other in business coaching) help you understand what to think about when it comes to prospecting and sales in general.

    ------

If you need some truth about networking, prospecting, and activity in general, let this conversation be your guide as Eric get the opportunity to ask questions to James Pagano. A well-known and well-respected leader and business coach.

The bottom line is if you are a business leader or sales professional with value to offer you need to find a new way to engage with more people in a genuine way.

We hope you enjoy this chat about prospecting with both Eric Kasimov of KazSource and James Pagano of The Growth Coach.

  • EP092 | The Podcasters Mindset

Thinking of starting your own podcast? Good. Now let's talk about the podcasters mindset! There's a lot of misunderstanding when it comes to podcasting. Allow two experienced podcasters that both own their business (one in marketing and insurance and the other in legal) help you understand what to think about when it comes to podcasting and content in general. If you are a lawyer, financial advisor, insurance agent, or business professional, we hope this chat helps disclose some truth behind starting a podcast -- all of it to help you build the podcasters mindset.

    ------

If you are in a professional services business, you are probably thinking, why would I have a podcast?

Let this conversation be your guide as to why you should have a podcast as an individual in a professional service business.

While this chat is some months old, it is absolutely applicable right now. Since this chat, the individual Eric speaks with, Michael Elkins started his own lawn firm, MLE Law in Miami, Florida. There are references to his old firm which proves that creating content applies to both someone at a larger firm and someone running their own business.

The bottom line is, if you are a business leader with specific thoughts to share, you should consider creating content either on your own or with a team.

We hope you enjoy this chat about podcasting with both Eric Kasimov of KazSource and Michael Elkins of MLE Law.
