As entrepreneurs we struggle with balancing our personal relationships with our business life. We feel if we want a great business we can't spend too much quality time with our significant other, and if we spend too much time with our significant other our business won't thrive.
So for this episode both KB and Leahcim decided to get out their comfort zone and talk about a topic that most entrepreneurs ignore or choose to not address. "How to have a work life balance" or better put "How to be a successful entrepreneur AND future husband to your spouse."
The 4 problems we addressed were:
1. Not making time for our significant other
2. Explaining the differences between investing and spending
3. Lack of communication
4. Patience
Even though we have not mastered this topic, we feel that we have made leaps of progress in our personal lives and this defines what Entrepreneurhood is all about, a community where entrepreneurs can grow together.

Have you ever had too much pride to ask for directions because you felt like you knew how to get to your destination? Then you just kept driving with the hopes that you will eventually figure it out on your own? The reality is that roads change, traffic occurs, and accidents happen everyday. Having a clear marketing plan is like having a brand new GPS. Most entrepreneurs have a marketing plan or a basic understanding of what marketing is, however we feel like they are following a plan that leads to a dead end. In other words, they are following a broken GPS. Fellow entrepreneurs please fix your GPS, as in redirect your marketing plan. Your rise or fall of your business is dependent on your ability to execute a CLEAR marketing strategy. #Entrepreneurhood

As entrepreneurs we have learned that your friends and family love you for who you are not what you do. But when you are new to entrepreneurship you expect those closest to you to be your biggest supporters. This myth has caused a lot of arguments, broken relationships, and led many disappointments. The reality is your biggest fans will be people that you have never met.
If you hear something you agree with in this episode, share it with a friend and tell them to remain authentic because their support will come from people they least expect.

When it comes to starting a new business, picking the right legal entity can be overwhelming. That's why most people decide to "play dirty" but the professionals eventually "level up". Whether you're selling drinks at your lemonade stand or cutting hair at your house you should want to legitimize your business. We discuss the benefits of asset protection, tax write offs, & business credit that's comes with the level up!
The three most common legal entities are a LLC, C corporation, and S corporation. Without having one of these entities to protect you can run into some serious problems. The 4 problems that KB and Leahcim addressed were:
1. Being sued and not having protection for your personal assets
2. Not being paid correctly as an independent contractor
3. Paying high taxes or not paying taxes at all to cheat the system
4. Not having access to business credit or access to more capital.

Leahcim James was born in Kingston Jamaica, and moved to Queens New York back in 1998 when he was 5 years old. Not being an US citizen always kept Leahcim on his toes and made him realize from a young age that if he didn't work hard he would be poor forever. Growing up in the east coast made Leahcim realize that this world thrives on competition and discipline. Those two skills led Leahcim to graduate college with his bachelors degree in business in 3 and a half years, start his first company at the age of 22, give his mom $14,000 in her time of need, save over 100k by 24, and lose it all by 25 years old. Now that he has experienced so many ups and downs in business he has decided to team up with his childhood best friend KB to create Entrepreneurhood. A community where entrepreneurs can grow together.
