Our guests today have been close friends since the middle of the 80's, when due to doing what most mums do, they met whilst ferrying their kids to school and back.

And that simple connection lead them on an entrepreneurial journey that perhaps they wouldn't have imagined as possible at the very beginning.

Starting in the garage looking at money making ideas and projects, these two mums started researching home remedies, studied herbal properties and used their families as guinea pigs for numerous concoctions.

Over the years, they have acquired a file filled with business cards they created for one idea after another. They have run a newspaper, produced original Murder Mystery Dinner events, operated an advertising and PR firm and generally sizzled with endless ideas.

And I took this phrase directly from their website as I loved it, had never heard it before, but it seems so apt for a show like this.

"Even a blind pig eventually finds an acorn."

And due to the ever expanding production line of grandchildren they decided they wanted to find candy, or sweets as we call them in the UK, that they would be happy with their loved ones eating.

And it seems that so many people wanted the same thing, and that blind pig had found its acorn.

And that pig started running, and running it was quite an excited pig it seems, and now these two amazing ladies have a company called Ice Chips Candy, which led to them being contestants on the American Version of the UK Show "Dragons Den" which is called "Shark Tank".

So did it work for them?

Did they gain the investment that they sought?

Are they pleased that they tried so many things on their way to finding their thing in life?

Todays guest entrepreneur is someone that can make us both physically better, and professionally too.

With a degree in medicine and three years under his belt working in an Australian hospital,he knows a thing or two about injuries and the like.

But unusually for a Doctor, this career which for many is a choice for life, was not his only focus.

As whilst performing his medical roles, he was eagerly researching and developing quite a few internet businesses which he modestly claims as “Failed or moderately successful” start ups.

An online mapping site, a myspace profiling site, a divorce website, a limousine directory, various travel websites, a satellite TV comparison site, created and sold various ebooks,

created and sold various types of software, online advertising agency, online search engine optimization agency and even a site designed to train individuals to improve their lie

detection skills!

But he still managed to earning nearly $1,000,000 in a year from a bedroom in his parents house, from affiliate marketing, which to me sounds very successful!

But he really came to the fore when back in 2012 he created Time Doctor, a way to manage your staffs time, if in his case he was eager for them to work more remotely than they had

previously.

After all how do you know that they aren’t sitting watching Harry Potter 27, when actually they should be head down working?

Now with the success of this under his belt, he increased his portfolio of “Successful start ups” with the creation of Staff.com which is a global online platform for recruitment.

So what does he do when he isn’t working?

Does he use the Time Doctor software himself?

Todays guests is Mr Michael ONeal, the podcasting master behind the hit iTunes show "The Solopreneur Podcast".

The top ranked business show, or The Solohour as it is known to its friends, teaching online marketing and entrepreneurship skills.

Michael is a man who quite simply without him, then I wouldn't be on the mic today.

So you know where to send all your complaints too.

He is a born entrepreneur with a fascinating story, of successes, setbacks, leaps of faith, and finding his unique path with the guidance of John Lee Dumas and Pat Flynn.

Growing up in Philadelphia, the thought of being the host of his own podcast show was the last thing on his mind. He was a normal type of kid, obsessed with sport, finding trouble at school, and generally being a kid.

But unfortunately that freedom of thought and energy changed when he was moved from his beloved Philly, and taken down to Florida, and it seems to me this was the start of him looking for his path in life.

He didn’t fit in down in the Sunshine State, so as soon as he could, he got himself back up North, and discovered one of the first dots in his life that links him to where he is today…the internet.

He was fascinated by the worldwide web, so developed skills to be a web designer.

And that was his life for fifteen years, until unfortunately his parents both passed away in a very short time, and he found himself sitting with just $14 dollars in his pocket.

He was over 30, with a decision forced upon him. Would he accept the punches that life had dealt him, or would he start fighting back?

And that descision was made and he took the steps that made him “Know too much” and not want to work for anyone else again?

He was going to become a solopreneur and own his own future.

But how did he know he had the skills to be a success in the online arena?

How did he know where his true passions lie?

And does he regret inspiring guys like me to jump into the pool too?
