There is a misconception out there that the ideal state involves having all of your chakras "wide open" all the time. In this episode, Mel explains why that practice could actually be a source of mental and emotional disharmony... and what you should be doing instead.

Many of us have a spectrum of voices that guide us inside of our head. Some of those voices serve as our moral compass, while others remind us of experiences we had as children. Unless you are being directed to do something harmful, these voices are usually nothing to be concerned about and are often considered pretty normal.

I open this episode by quoting an individual I know who identifies as a survivor. While they don't see themselves as an especially inspirational figure, their approach to life and the HOPE they carry is a model for others. For each of us, hope is found and nurtured in different ways. Our personal subconscious makeups have a lot to do with that.. with how we process our experiences.
