She's the founder of Mamas house (mam_mashouse), a community interest company that offers services such as matrescence wellness consultations, infant feeding reflections, one to one breastfeeding peer support and more. We also discussed the struggles of breastfeeding, the benefits and trusting your body to do the damn thing!

In this episode, we sit down with Ilham, founder of MURSCENTS, who shares her incredible journey of strength and resilience. Pregnant at 22, Ilham faced the daunting challenge of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), enduring 7 months of sickness. Just when things couldn't seem more challenging, Ilham experienced a heartbreaking betrayal by her husband at five months pregnant, leading to their divorce shortly after the birth of her beautiful daughter.
Despite all of this, she was able to build a good life for herself as a single mother alongside her daughter. She started a business (Murscents) selling Frankincense, Oud/Bakhoor and Oud Oil, inspired by her own upbringing in a Somali home.
