I am honored to introduce this episode’s guest, Dr. William Perry. Dr. Perry is a mathematician, engineer, businessman, and public servant. Perry served as the 19th secretary of defense for the United States under President Bill Clinton. An expert on US foreign policy, arms control, and national security, Dr. Perry is a prolific advocate for nuclear disarmament. I was privileged with the opportunity to speak with Dr. Perry about humans, our tendencies to start conflicts, and what we must do as a society to ensure the future of our species is not endangered by weapons of mass destruction.
