In today's culture, we need to be wary of the media that our children are surrounded by, which sadly includes children's books. The once wholesome Scholastic is now choosing to publish books that threaten to corrupt our children, and we can't sit idly by while this happens. Many parents, caregivers, and teachers believe that there is nothing we can do, but we must take the stance of David against the Goliath of secular children's books. We must take a stance of courage and be advocates for the future that we want our children to be living in.
