Welcome to the Relationship Diversity Podcast, where we celebrate, question, and explore all aspects of relationship structure diversity from soloamory to monogamy to polyamory, and everything in between because every relationship is as unique as you are.

Episode 014: Is it selfish to love yourself?

In this episode, we will look at the idea of selfishness vs. selfless.

When is it beneficial to be selfless and when is it important to be selfish?

If you forgo your own health (mental, physical, emotional or spiritual) for someone else’s, you begin to experience a life lived for everyone else except yourself, which inevitably becomes a life lived for others while betraying yourself.

We will also look at this spiritual principle:

“Going inward is the first step in having a different outward experience.”

This is very different than the narrative that is fed to us from every direction – that all my happiness (and sadness and fear) comes from outside of me.

Join me as we come together to explore how this plays into all our relationships.

This is Relationships Reimagined.
