This is a quick minisode where Bryanna teaches what boundaries are, types of boundaries, how to know when your boundaries are crossed & sharing your boundaries, and action items for boundary violations. This was originally used in a workshop Bryanna created called Breathwork for Boundaries that is no longer available. It's unedited so please disregard references to other portions of the workshop.
DISCLAIMER: If someone crosses your boundaries it is never your fault. It does not mean that your boundaries are weak or that you did not enforce them enough. If in the past someone crossed your boundaries to the point where they harmed you, violated you, or abused you it is not your fault. In this episode, Bryanna talks about action items for boundary violations. This is a tool that is meant for empowering you to claim or reclaim authority in your life. It’s very easy to turn these action items inward to blame yourself. Action items are not a replacement for accountability. The person who crossed your boundaries is accountable for doing so, whether they can accept that & grow with you is up to them.
CW: This podcast discusses topics related to trauma and abuse.
