Ashley has had severe migraines for as long as she can remember and she walks us through her story and about how it can cause extreme anxiety for her because you just never know when it hits you. We talk about food anxiety as well and how this ties in because a lot of new-age medicine addresses diet as being a cure for migraines and how that just doesn’t work for and in fact, may cause more frustration overall.
The really big take away, in my opinion from this episode, is this. While it truly is difficult to communicate your symptoms some times with a medical professional, it helps to be educated, speak up and take responsibility for your treatment plan. You are entitled to speaking up when it comes to your treatment or lack thereof.
