PUSHING BACK CHAOS

Ep: 065 - November 11- Veteran’s / Remembrance Day

Listen Later

Each year the western world stops on November 11th at 11am for a period of silent reflection.

Why do we pause?

What is it in memory of?

On this day, at that time, the guns fell silent in 1918, signalling the end of World War 1.

The next year, the first service was held in memory of the fallen who had sacrificed so much- it was initially called Armistice Day. Over the years, it became a day to remember the sacrifices not just from WW1, but from all wars.

Since the start of WW1, over 31 million service personnel have given their lives.

Join your hosts in this episode as they reflect on what this day means for them, and some of what these sacrifices have been in aid of.

At this time, take the time to reach out into your network- you never know how much it can mean to have a friend or loved one communicate during what can be a difficult period.
