On this episode, we interview blogger Emily on her adventures with her daughter Finley. What a lovely duo to see on the trail. Emily and her family live out near the mountain by Asheville, NC. We immediately hit it off when she told us about them previously owning a brewery. I thought, a hiker, camper, loves nature, and owned a brewery…this family is my kind of people. After having Finely, Emily was looking for an outlet to get outside with her daughter. Most first time moms experience the blues when been cooped up inside with a baby.  So she choose to start going on regular hikes to not only get the breath of fresh air but to get Finley out in nature. Emily started a blog to track, not only her adventures with Finely, but to also review the hikes and tell you about them. Whether they are family friendly, like is there cell phone service in case of an emergency, and other important facts, to know before beginning the hike, especially if your going solo. I love that she takes these adventures and shows her daughter what beauty nature gives us. She has some future travels to Big Bend National Park in Texas and to go to Ireland. I look forward to hearing more about their adventures and be sure that they will be back on the podcast.
