Today I'm sharing what it was like to be in a cult for about 2 years.

Keep in mind - my cult experience wasn't like the documentaries you see on TV; mine was a lot more like an intimate, entangled mess of a relationship where I allowed someone else to use my time and energy for her benefit, all under the guise of her acting as my "spiritual guru".

Perhaps you can relate? Maybe you've given your power away to someone else - be it a romantic partner, a friend, a boss, a group of people.

I no longer look back on that period of my life as a "mistake"; in fact - it's been one of the most important parts of my journey of finding & anchoring in my own personal empowerment story.
