Alex has a super diverse background in multi-day hikes, fast packing, rock climbing and ultra trail running. He is also a proper gear nerd and one of the nicest blokes getting around.

We chat about the incredible gear that Raidlight are putting out over the next year and the process by which they have managed to produce some of the lightest, most durable and athlete friendly kit on the market.

We also discuss some extreme methods for cutting down on pack weight and when it's appropriate to jettison small children in order to fit more beer in.
