Doris Lemngole won the women’s 3000m in 8:31.39, with Lauren Ryan placing 5th in 8:41.97.

Sam Ruthe won the Boston University John Terrier Meet Mile in 3:48.88, the 11th fastest in the world ever, a under 18 world record and the New Zealand National Record

London Marathon announced their elite fields to feature Olympians Sifan Hassan, Hellen Obiri, Tamirat Tola, Jacob Kiplimo as well as Sebastian Sawe, and will include Australians Tim Vincent and Liam Boudin.

Dolphine Omare won the Marugame Half Marathon in Japan in 1:06:15 ahead of Eilish McColgan, with Izzy Batt-Doyle 4th in 1:08:51, with Australians Rebecca Lowe in 1:15:24 and Portia Olsen in 1:21:22 also making the top 20.

Leo Petersen won the Sun Run 10k in Manly over Ed Goddard, while Aynslee Van Graan held off Nicola Sheridan for the win.

Adrian Potter ran 13:59.63 for 5000m at the Adelaide Distance Series, with Monique Hollick taking it out in 17:17.89.

Fleur Cooper won the 1500m at the NSW Milers Meet in 4:24.06 ahead of Aynslee Van Gran and Ava Garnys, while in the Men's Elliot Metcalf won in 3:46.33 ahead of Oliver Ham and Matthew McLachlan.

Sam Ruthe breaks the world under 16 mile record of 3:53.83 at the Cooks International Classic in Whanganui, New Zealand behind Sam Tanner who won in 3:53.36.

Boston Marathon announced professional fields featuring Australians Leanne Pompeani, Lisa Weightman, Izzi Batt-Doyle and Andy Buchanan.

Habtom Samuel, the NCAA Cross Country Champion from Eritrea won the Houston Half Marathon in 59:01, while Fentaye Belayneh of Ethiopia won in 1:04:49.
