I found myself driving home one night recently through some very thick fog. It forced me to drive slower than normal and to really pay attention to what I could see in front of and around me, and it was very disorienting at times. Driving through this fog reminded me of a season I had found myself in earlier this year where I felt like the road ahead of me was very unclear. I felt like the path I was headed down was hazy and disorienting. And it forced me to slow down and navigate the journey with a lot more intentionality. It also gave me an opportunity to really lean into my own internal clarity, since everything externally and everything outside of me felt very unclear. It allowed me to lean into my own intuition and to trust that even when I couldn't see very far down the road in front of me, that the road was still there, and that the further I moved down the road, the more of the road I would be able to see. And that, ultimately, even when there was little external clarity in the journey ahead, that I could still trust in my own internal clarity to remind me of where I was going.
